COMMUNITY

At Cole’s we believe it’s important to be involved within the community. East Grinstead and the surrounding area have a strong history of community and we want to help whenever we can.

Here are just a few things we’ve supported in recent years.

We joined the East Grinstead High Street Traders shortly after opening our doors. We have helped grow the group and have been instrumental in organising and promoting events such as ‘Twas the Sunday Before Christmas and more recently, The BIG Reveal; an event that has grown each year to become a must for many families in the East Grinstead area. We will continue to be involved in High Street events as we look to make them bigger and better each year.

We have been proud to sponsor several local children’s sports teams over the years and will continue to be involved with sport.

We have been actively involved with the Town Council to design the artwork and promote several events in East Grinstead over the last few years.

Matthew Cole has been on the committee of the East Grinstead Business Association for several years. The association has been influential with dozens of schemes and programmes designed to promote East Grinstead and, in turn, the businesses that operate within the area. Recent projects include the creation of visiteastgrinstead.com, erection of brown tourist signs and the realisation of the McIndoe statue on the High Street to name a few.

We have helped local schools with the design, production and promotion of several events. We have also been involved in art competitions and even hosted one school year to talk about art!
